✅POOR ORAL INTAKE LEADING TO DEHYDRATION DUE TO

๐Ÿ”– Bulbar dysfunction 
๐Ÿ”– Pending surgery 

✅FLUID OVERLOAD DUE TO

๐Ÿ”–overzealous intravenous rehydration 

✅DRUGS

๐Ÿ”–osmotic or loop diuretic therapy as part of the management of raised ICP

✅DISORDERS OF SODIUM-WATER BALANCE ASSOCIATED WITH THE NEUROLOGICAL PATHOLOGY/ SURGERY

๐Ÿ”–Syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH)
๐Ÿ”–Cerebral salt wasting (CSWS) 
๐Ÿ”–Diabetes insipidus
